OVERWHELMED! Yup, that's me! Oh how I wish I could go to sleep and wake when this move is finished.
The movers are packing as I type. Why am I so stressed? I have moved countless times but this one has really gotten to me. I can not sleep. My stress seems to be centering on my back. I have never had back pain before.....oh well. No knitting in these parts for a bit. I have not had time. The movers will pack and move everything, even the trash, but one still has to prepare the stuff for the movers. Who knew? Who could know? I am just waiting for the weekend, all the stuff will be gone and I will be alone in an empty house with my beloved cat Uma, decompressing...... I hope to swatch for the Skif inspired knit along with Karen and Mare.
That should help clear my mind. All for now.....

My poor man! I wish I could be there to suffer with you although I'm sure Uma will be company enough. What will you sleep on? And please have a cocktail before you lose it!

I feel for you. I've been cycling through insomnia and deep sleep for weeks. I think I just get so tired after 3-4 nights without sleeping that I crash.
Our move is Saturday and I cannot wait. It will be nice to actually have time to knit or read again!
Take care!!

Oh, I hate moving, I hate moving, I hate moving. But it WILL be over, and the best part is that your whole new place will be CLEAN, with no dust bunnies lurking, and you'll know where everything is. Hang in there....

Ooh...moving is the WORST! Hang in there, my dear. It'll all be a bad, distant memory soon enough.

Arrgghhh! I know what you mean about moving. I'm getting over a thrown out back for two weeks now after trying to lift something I shouldn't have. Still can't sleep on my favorite side. Well it sounds like your moving to our neck of the woods, Va. we are in Norfolk, Va. Hang in there hopefully you will find yourself in your new place soon.

Hey Max, hang in there - It's seemed like months for our "move". Just remember knitting is like riding a bike - you'll never forget how. (Just ask me.)
