Does it ever seem like certain projects just fly off the needles? Well, This cardi (link to pattern I use) is flying off the needles. I started it last Thursday evening and the progress has been insane. I must be in a knitting mood. Maybe it is the weather, who knows.

Maybe the progress is good because I just love this yarn. I have noticed this color of Peace Fleece has more vegetable matter in it than some of the other colors I have used. I know Terri had a similar problem with a cardi she made from peace fleece. I don't mind it so much. What can I say, I love this kind of yarn. I would never use this for a childs garment, but I have no problems wearing it next to my skin. Besides the vegetable matter, I have noticed this color is wound a bit tighter than some of the other colors I have used. I made a couple of sweaters out of the Peace Fleece "Siberian Midnight" and that yarn was a bit softer, no vegetable matter, and the yarn had a lot more loft. I wonder if it is the color of the dye, or just the batch, either way, I still love this yarn.
So hopefully I will finish this baby by the weekend at the latest. I just love this pattern and this cardi so much I am going to make another one out of a different color of Peace Fleece. All for now.

LOVELY!!! I must try some of that Peace Fleece for sure :) love the scarf you're making too :) beautiful!

Actually, I have made so many of them I don't really use it anymore but this is the one from which I learned to knit raglans.
