I have been working on a couple of new things this week. I started a scarf out of Noro Kureyon #90.

I loved this pattern and I thought it showed off the colors of Kureyon very well. It is easy to knit and fun. This is the first time I have played around with Kureyon and I am addicted. I can't put the stuff down. I just want to keep knitting to see what color comes up next. This yarn is a lot of fun. The colors are neat and the texture of the yarn is right up my alley. I am not really a purple fan but I like the combination of colors of Kureyon #90. I want to try the same scarf with Silk Garden. I bought Noro volume #15 for the scarf pattern and received a leaflet of the pattern when I bought the yarn. If anybody wants the leaflet just let me know and I will mail it to you.
I also started another cardigan using some Peace Fleece I had in my stash, the color is Ancient Fern. I am working from the top down and have made my way past the arm holes and have completed one arm. This pattern works up so fast. More on the cardigan later. All for now.

I think I figured out my purling problems because I am now purling like a champ. Please send link to combined knitting method. Will call tonight...

Ancient fern! Now that's my kind of color! I've never used Peace Fleece but now I think I'm going to have to.
What kind of increases do you use when you make a raglan from the top down? I haven't found one yet that I really like. But I love the top down idea.

I just lift the strand between two stitches and knit into the back of the picked up strand. I do not get any "holes" this way, but it can be a bit lumpy looking with a substantial yarn like peace fleece.

Oh... it's so pretty! I have been coveting that particular shade of Noro for some time now. It's good to know what it looks like knitted up.

Very beautiful scarf and super bags too! Where did you get your kureyon with the leaflet? I would love to just be able to get the scarf pattern without buying the whole book, but am not finding a yarn store that has it so far. I would be willing to buy yarn with it of course.
Happy spring!

I love your Noro Scarf. Beautiful knitting!!!
Your scarf inspires me to pick up my needles once again.
Am I too late to get a copy of the pattern?
I would love to make it for my college age granddaughters.
The winter will be long and cold for them in Massachusetts.

I also love the scarf and would like the pattern if it is still available. I have four skeins of Noro Kureyon and I think the scarf is perfect--
